Member of its audit committee and risk committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professor of Financial Macroeconomics and of Monetary Policy at HEC Paris<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member of the board of Rexecode ( Institute of Economic Forecasting)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Career path<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CEO of Lazard Fr\u00e8res Banque and Managing Partner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CEO of BRED Group till June 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member of the Supervisory Board and the Risk Committee of BPCE Group till June 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CEO of BPCE , in charge of the commercial bank and insurance activities, 3 years, from 2010 to 2012<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Affiliate Professor at HEC PARIS (3 courses : Monetary Policy, Financial Cycles and Crises, and Econoof the financial system: banks and financial markets) and co-director of the Grande Ecole Major (Master 2) and specialized Master of the same name: Economics and Finance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distinguished for his investment in the service of the general interest, with the rank of Knight of the Legion of Honor, promotion of January 1, 2021.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Focus on BPCE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In February 2010 he was appointed as CEO \u2013 Commercial Banking and Insurance- of Groupe BPCE (Groupe Banque Populaire and Caisse d\u2019Epargne) overseeing notably Banques Populaires, Caisse d\u2019Epargne and Banque Palatine.<br>At this time he was simultaneously both a member of the Board at Natixis and at CNP and was also Chairman of the Board at Banque Palatine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BRED Group<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Olivier Klein has been CEO of BRED Group \u2013 Groupe BPCE\u2019s largest commercial bank- since October 2012.<br>The BRED Group has a retail bank, a corporate bank, a private bank, a trading desk, an asset management company, an insurance company, a Private Equity activity and bank subsidiaries in South East Asia, the Pacific region, the Horn of Africa and in Switzerland.<br>From 2012 to 2022, BRED\u2019s results have been remarkable, with a 81% increase in net banking income and a x2,8 increase in consolidated net profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Focus on teaching<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Olivier Klein is an Affiliate Professor at HEC. He was a lecturer at the University of Paris I (Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne) for the course of \u201cinternational monetary problems\u201d from 1983 to 1985 and Director of Research Groups in the third year at ENSAE (Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l\u2019Administration Economique) from 1985 to 1987<br>Olivier Klein was also a member of the Scientific Committee of the Doctoral School in Management Sciences at HEC \u2013 Panth\u00e9on Sorbonne (Paris I) between 1995 and 2005.<br>And a member of the Board of the Ecole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure de Lyon in 2007-2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Graduation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Olivier Klein is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l\u2019Administration Economique (ENSAE) and of HEC Top Excecutive programme of Finance, has a degree in Economics (Universit\u00e9 Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne) and holds Russian and English language diplomas<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CEO of Lazard Fr\u00e8res Banque and Managing Partner.
